Amy’s journey form New Zealand to Canada would have been hard, moving to a whole new country and living with someone she hardly knew, adopting a whole new life.
At first Amy didn’t like her dad at all but towards the end of the movie their relationship really improoves! Her journey south really brought Amy and her Dad closer.
